Lake Steam Baths has operated as a nude Russian banya at 3540 W Colfax Ave since 1927, which makes it far older than the rest of Denver's cold-exposure scene and a different proposition entirely: a multi-level cedar sauna with steam baths, a hot tub and a dedicated cold plunge. Bathing is communal and single-sex, with women using the baths on Mondays and Thursdays and men on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays; the operator publishes no co-ed days at all. Admission is a $32 day pass for unlimited access. No sauna or plunge temperature is published.
