Privacy
The short version: this site has no accounts, no forms that store your data, and nothing to sell about you. It keeps aggregate visit statistics, and it receives whatever email you choose to send it. That is the whole list.
What is collected
Aggregate analytics. The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and outbound links are used. It runs only onfindsaunaplunge.com — not on previews or mirrors — and only with its default configuration: no advertising features, no remarketing audiences, and no cross-site ad personalisation. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (the_ga family) to tell returning browsers from new ones. The custom events we record are clicks on venue websites, booking links, and gear links — each tied to the venue or product clicked, not to you.
Ordinary server logs. The site is served by Cloudflare, which — like every hosting provider — processes IP addresses and request metadata to deliver pages and block abuse. We do not build visitor profiles from any of it.
Email you send. Writing tosubmit@findsaunaplunge.com orprivacy@findsaunaplunge.com puts your message and address in our mailbox, where it is used to answer you and for nothing else. No newsletter exists, so nothing subscribes you to anything.
What is not collected
There are no user accounts, no login, no comments, and no forms that write to a database — the listing form currently routes through email. We do not buy data about visitors, do not sell or share data for advertising, and do not run third-party ad scripts. If ads ever appear on this site, this page will describe exactly what changed before they do.
Cookies, and saying no to them
The only cookies come from Google Analytics. Blocking them breaks nothing — every page works identically with cookies refused. Any content blocker or browser privacy setting will do it, or Google's ownopt-out extension if you prefer to block Analytics everywhere.
Outbound links
Links to studio websites and booking pages carry a tag (utm_source=findsaunaplunge) so the studio can see in its own analytics that we sent the visit. The tag identifies this site, not you. Equipment links, when any are active, are marked as sponsored on the page; none are active today, and when that changes the partner's own cookie practices will apply on their site after you click — this page will name the programmes at that point.
Studio information
Venue listings are information about businesses — addresses, phone numbers, published prices and temperatures — taken from each studio's own public material. If you run a studio and want your listing corrected, updated, or discussed, write tosubmit@findsaunaplunge.com; corrections are handled ahead of new submissions, as promised on thehow we verify page.
Your requests
Want to know what we hold about you, or want it deleted? For almost everyone the honest answer is "nothing beyond any email you sent us" — and deleting that is a one-line request toprivacy@findsaunaplunge.com. Whatever privacy law applies where you live, that address is the door, and requests are answered by a person.
