What we have

• Per-venue facts, each with a check date:published session prices, memberships, water and sauna temperatures, private-vs-communal layout, hours, and modalities. Most facts carry a verbatim quote from the venue's own page and the date we read it.
• Roll-ups you can quote directly: the US data page (median prices, temperature benchmarks, the contrast-therapy share, city-by-city table) — every figure with its denominator.
• The raw dataset: a JSON feed of every live venue, CC BY 4.0, documented on the API page, plus an MCP server for AI tooling.

What we deliberately do not have: ratings, rankings by quality, market-size estimates, or any figure we could not trace to a venue's own published material. Absent fields mean unknown, never zero. Details in the verification methodology and editorial policy.

How to cite

Please quote denominators with numbers ("of the 548 venues checked…"). Our figures describe our coverage, not the whole US market, and citing them that way is what keeps them accurate in your piece.

Data requests

Need a cut of the data we have not published — prices in one city, temperature spreads, a fact-check on a figure from elsewhere? Email submit@findsaunaplunge.com. If we do not have it sourced, we will say so rather than estimate it. We do not provide comment on individual venues beyond what their listing states.
