The rules this site runs on — short enough to actually read, and written down so you can hold us to them.
Every studio is listed because it exists
Listing is free, and always has been. No studio has ever paid to appear here, to rank higher, or to change a word of its listing. What a listing says is decided by one thing only: what the studio publishes on its own site.
No star ratings, on purpose
We don't score studios, and we don't publish "best of" opinions dressed up as data. Where a page ranks anything, it sorts on one published number and says which — cheapest drop-in, coldest plunge on record. You see what each studio charges and offers; you decide what's best for you.
Details are read, never invented
Prices, temperatures, and hours come from the studio's own website, carry the date we read them, and mostly link to the exact page they came from. If a studio stops publishing a detail, we remove it. If we can't find one, the field stays blank — a blank means "not published," never "zero."
Independence
FindSaunaPlunge is not owned by, invested in, or affiliated with any studio, chain, or equipment maker it covers. When we link out to a studio, that link is the whole relationship.
Mistakes get fixed fast
Anyone can flag an error — studios via the corrections page, anyone else at submit@findsaunaplunge.com. Corrections are checked against the studio's own site and applied with a fresh date — ahead of everything else in the queue. Where sources disagree, we remove the detail rather than guess.
