Chicago Bath House is a traditional Russian-style banya in Wicker Park that has operated since 1906, making it the city's oldest surviving bathhouse. The hot room uses a brick and granite oven heated by gas jets rather than a conventional steam generator, and bathers cool off in an on-site cold pool. Day admission covers the sauna, cold pool and locker areas with no re-entry. The bathhouse also runs a full-service restaurant and bar on site.
